Senior Staff Accountant (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Consolidate multi-entity and multi-currency financials.
• Manage revenue accounting, deferred revenue, and subscription invoicing.
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audits, tax filings, and special projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve billing and revenue processes and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise.
• Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models.
• Familiarity with GAAP, multi-currency consolidation, financial systems, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or leading financial audits.
• Knowledge of SaaS metrics and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in a startup or scaling company.
