What you will do

• Own and drive the technical direction of vehicle architecture for the Autonomous Driving Kit.
• Author, maintain, and analyze technical requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop core vehicle electrical hardware architecture meeting functional safety and security standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture supports program requirements and HIL needs.
• Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis during design, prototype, and production phases.
• Stay current with industry trends and champion best practices within the engineering group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Hardware, Computer, or Systems Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of automotive ECUs and methodologies.
• Experience with safety-critical and fail-operational control systems.
• Proficiency with Requirements Management Tools such as Jama.
• Familiarity with data buses including CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, and LIN.
• Experience with high-speed signaling and signal integrity.

Nice to have

• Expertise in ISO 26262 standards and ASPICE.
• Experience establishing functional safety cases for L4 autonomous applications.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Linux.
• Experience designing and executing lab-based or real-world field tests.
• Knowledge of industry standards for automotive electronics and standard lab equipment.
