What you will do

• Drive root-cause analysis of failures across electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware teams.
• Validate corrective actions to prevent future system failures.
• Perform thorough inspections and checkouts of new hardware and RMAs to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with product teams by providing customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and build instructions.
• Enhance diagnostic tools to accelerate the detection of failure modes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience debugging and assembling hardware/software systems in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience delivering technical solutions directly to customers.
• Proficiency with automotive electronics and protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and 100BASE-T1.
• Ability to independently solve complex, novel problems with minimal guidance.
• Must be able to satisfy U.S. person status or citizenship requirements if applicable for national security-related restrictions.

Nice to have

• Expertise with autonomy sensors including LiDAR, radar, cameras, and INS systems.
• Skills in prototyping electronics, wire harnesses, and custom hardware components.
• Experience with hardware design tools such as CAD, SolidWorks, or soldering.
• Programming skills in C++, Python, C, ROS, or bash.
• Experience with Ubuntu/Linux or Windows operating systems.
