What you will do

• Build and maintain simulation fidelity and validity metrics to quantify the gap between simulation and real-world driving.
• Design and maintain robust data ingestion and loading tools for diverse simulation pipelines.
• Develop and optimize nodes in C++ and Python to extract and aggregate metric outputs at scale.
• Create, maintain, and monitor test suites to enable automated regression detection and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute technical designs, experiment results, and internal documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to articulate requirements and share best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing Python in a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with C++.
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistics, SQL, ROS, numpy, and scipy.
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with computational geometry, linear algebra, or Machine Learning.
• Experience with time-series data analysis and online performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud, BigQuery, or containerized builds.
• Experience in simulation/test engineering or automotive autonomy platforms.
