What you will do

• Develop and prototype new features for CI workflow orchestration in a remote sandbox environment.
• Debug and optimize queueing delays, performance, and autoscaling of CI infrastructure.
• Identify root causes of test flakiness related to infrastructure.
• Enhance observability and alerting across build systems and merge queues.
• Build canarying mechanisms for safe iterative rollout of workflow changes.

Requirements

• Must be located in a US state where Airbnb has a registered entity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• Experience or interest in distributed systems engineering and optimization.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, EC2, Golang, and Docker.
• Metrics-driven decision-making approach.
