Salary: $240,000 – $280,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing systems aligned with business strategy.
• Establish organization-wide patterns and frameworks to ensure quality, resilience, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product leadership to align technical architecture with strategic business goals.
• Mentor senior technical leaders to elevate engineering capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives to remove organizational blockers and accelerate delivery.
• Design sustainable systems and boundaries to support growth, emphasizing observability and reliability.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep architectural expertise in backend systems.
• Proven track record of influencing technical strategy at an organizational or group level.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Full-stack capability with experience in React, Next, and GraphQL.
• Expertise with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows (CircleCI, GitHub).
• Must be based in the United States.
