What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical vision for the Integration team and supporting services, from concept to long-term evolution.
• Translate ambiguous product/business goals into technical strategy, architecture, and execution plans.
• Write production backend code and set standards for design quality, code quality, and operational rigor.
• Lead architectural decisions for scalable backend systems balancing velocity, reliability, maintainability, extensibility, and operability.
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives by identifying risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through architecture/code reviews and technical writing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in software architecture and distributed/service-oriented systems.
• Experience building backend services using modern languages such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
• Production experience with SQL and at least one relational database.
• Cloud backend experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrations platforms and building speed for new integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning for large datasets.
• Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and/or GraphQL backends.
• Experience with ETL/data processing pipelines and observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience in cybersecurity domains such as vulnerability/exposure management, security telemetry, or security analytics.
