What you will do

• Develop proactive and reactive communications strategies for litigation, regulatory, and legal risk matters.
• Partner directly with Legal, Executive Leadership, and senior Comms partners to shape media narratives.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams across Legal, Communications, Policy, and Investor Relations.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists covering legal, regulatory, and real estate beats.
• Translate complex legal situations into clear communication positions for senior executive review.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments to proactively flag communication risks and present solutions.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of communications experience with a significant focus on media relations.
• Must be based in the United States (with limited exceptions).
• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive, high-stakes communications in a legal, litigation, regulatory, or crisis context.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and legal counsel with speed and clarity.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of owning complex cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

• In-house experience at a publicly traded company.
• Familiarity with securities litigation, class action, or regulatory enforcement communications.
• Experience working alongside outside counsel.
