What you will do

• Manage and maintain optical lab systems to support team requirements.
• Define and create technical presentations, test plans, release notes, and engineering guides.
• Validate technical deliverables for new product features and solution introductions.
• Execute product demonstrations, lab trials, and field deployments.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical consultation and design support.
• Resolve complex field issues escalated from global technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Communications Engineering.
• Must reside in the United Kingdom.
• Must be able to work extensively in a lab environment.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications and optical transport systems.
• Excellent English communication skills for technical and non-technical presentations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones and cultures.

Nice to have

• Experience with lab instrumentation and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with optical spectrum analyzers (OSA).
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Knowledge of WebUI technologies like JSON.
• Familiarity with northbound interfaces such as NETCONF.
