What you will do

• Provide first-line technical support and fault diagnosis for broadcast playout platforms and live production hubs.
• Perform methodical fault finding across diverse broadcast and IT infrastructure.
• Maintain operational resilience by conducting routine maintenance and proactive health checks.
• Support both traditional SDI-based systems and modern IP, virtualized, and cloud-based workflows.
• Accurately record incidents and technical changes within the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to ensure high service availability.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory; no sponsorship available.
• Solid understanding of IP video technologies including SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE 2022.
• Knowledge of broadcast signal chains, production workflows, and playout systems.
• Experience with structured fault investigation, log analysis, and root cause identification.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
• Degree or equivalent industry experience in Broadcast Engineering or related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals (multicast, VLANs, routing).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of Zixi Zen Master.
