Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum plus bonus.

What you will do

• Own preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software equipment issues.
• Define requirements and support the integration of new laboratory equipment.
• Monitor performance data to deliver measurable improvements in reliability and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and RCA activities (4C/8D).
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must have full right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or significant equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in equipment troubleshooting, system integration, and project delivery.
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, or software systems.
• Experience in a service engineering, maintenance, or test lab environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor or high-volume test environments.
• Knowledge of characterization, reliability testing, or surface mount standards.
• Programming skills in LabVIEW or Python.
• Experience with PCB design.
