What you will do

• Provide hands-on support to installers during setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar and battery systems.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure installation guides and technical documentation are clear and practical for site use.
• Act as a feedback loop, translating real-world site issues into actionable improvements for design and training teams.
• Coach independent contractors on technical standards, design intent, and sign-off requirements.
• Coordinate between housing associations, installers, and internal data teams to resolve friction points.
• Prioritize project readiness to ensure smooth transitions from installation to live operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting or delivering domestic solar PV and battery storage installations.
• Relevant electrical background with current BS 7671 / 18th Edition knowledge.
• Practical experience with battery commissioning, inverter setup, and monitoring platforms.
• Ability to interpret approved designs, schematics, and Bills of Materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear technical feedback.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays.
