People Business Partner

Location: Hawthorne, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Partner strategically with business owners and senior leadership on people strategies, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
• Support engineering teams through talent development, performance management, coaching, and feedback.
• Advise on restructures, workforce planning, succession planning, and HR policy interpretation.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues while improving workplace relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Design, implement, iterate, and evaluate people programs.
• Use people metrics and data-driven processes to support talent attraction, growth, and retention decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably supporting engineering client groups.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience across multiple HR and People channels.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, outcome-oriented environments.
• Strong partnership and coaching skills with managers and leaders, including the ability to deliver challenging feedback constructively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, data-driven thinking, and attention to detail.
