HR Business Partner (Robotics)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR partner for Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders.
• Coach technical managers on expectations, operating rhythms, feedback, performance, and career conversations.
• Support organizational scaling, including new management layers, leadership expectations, and workforce planning.
• Build and refine career frameworks, leveling structures, and individual contributor and management career tracks for technical roles.
• Identify retention risks in critical technical roles and implement targeted plans.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations on technical hiring, interview processes, people programs, and employee experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting technical teams in Engineering, Hardware, Software, or AI/ML.
• Experience advising managers on performance management, employee relations, and people decisions.
• Strong capabilities in organizational design, workforce planning, manager coaching, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong execution skills, with the ability to run people cycles, manage detail, and deliver consistently.
• High judgment when handling sensitive matters, with empathy, high standards, and legal and compliance awareness.

Nice to have

• Experience in deep-tech, robotics, embedded systems, or hardware and software organizations.
• Experience building or refining leveling frameworks and individual contributor and management career tracks.
• Familiarity with engineering operating models such as on-call, incident management, and postmortems.
