Senior Security Engineer (Enterprise Security)

Location: San Francisco, United States

Salary: $128,900–$180,000 per year in base pay for candidates based in the United States; expected OTE is $143,200–$200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, manage, and document enterprise security solutions protecting users, infrastructure, assets, and work locations.
• Investigate malware, advanced threats, security events, and critical incidents while participating in an on-call rotation.
• Implement DLP, IAM, SSO, MDM, password management, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint security controls.
• Expand SIEM capabilities by configuring detections, improving alerting, developing reports, and maintaining system operability.
• Review SaaS applications and business partner technologies, recommend security improvements, and support secure architecture and deployment decisions.
• Develop security policies, automate detection and reporting, support compliance, and mentor junior security associates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of security engineering experience focused on enterprise, network, and endpoint security.
• 3+ years in a corporate security environment with hands-on, technical, user-facing implementation experience.
• Experience with enterprise networking, security architecture, SaaS applications, email security, Mac endpoints, IAM, CrowdStrike EDR, and forensics.
• Experience conducting SaaS security reviews, data-flow analysis, architecture reviews, authentication and authorization assessments, and contractual security evaluations.
• Experience designing and tuning forensic programs across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments, including policy development, incident triage, and data classification.
• Technical authority experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
