Salary: $245,000–$260,000 + equity

What you will do

• Own and drive the federal and public sector compliance program across U.S. federal, DoD, and SLED environments.
• Define and execute the program roadmap, governance model, and operating cadence.
• Translate regulatory, security, and contractual requirements into strategic plans across Security, GRC, Engineering, Product, IT, and Legal.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure compliance initiatives align with system architecture and operational scalability.
• Drive prioritization and decision-making regarding certifications, attestations, and regulatory initiatives.
• Monitor evolving federal regulatory and procurement requirements to provide actionable guidance to leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Work must be performed from within the United States.
• Strong experience leading complex public sector compliance programs in cloud and SaaS environments.
• Deep knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, DoD Impact Levels, FISMA, and CJIS.
• Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Exceptional program leadership skills including roadmap development, risk identification, and dependency management.

Nice to have

• Experience with international compliance frameworks like IRAP or UK OFFICIAL.
• Exposure to government cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
• Experience with export controls and government-specific data classification requirements.
