What you will do
- Manage the loan process from start to finish, acting as a liaison between internal and external clients.
- Analyze complex income documentation and tax returns to determine qualifying calculations.
- Support Loan Officers and Processors with lending guidelines and eligibility answers.
- Review and deliver mortgage loan disclosure packages to borrowers.
- Pre-underwrite loan files including paystubs, credit reports, and bank statements.
- Train sales and processing staff on operational guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA.
- 3-5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage/consumer regulations.
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
Nice to have
- Experience with Encompass LOS.
- Prior underwriting experience.
