What you will do

• Guide financial controls by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Supervise all association accounting sub-departments including GL, AP, AR, Treasury, and Compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to automate workflows and enhance scalability.
• Champion the adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure closing deadlines are met and financial packets are delivered to clients according to expectations.
• Collaborate with accounting software vendors to improve workflows and manage technology projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-function departments and foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit processes.
• Experience leading accounting system projects and implementing automation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
