Associate Underwriting Manager/Underwriting Manager Cyber/E&O

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $104,480–$143,660/year for the Associate Underwriting Manager position, or $114,080–$159,610/year for the Underwriting Manager position, plus a 30% incentive.

What you will do

• Manage a team of commercial production underwriters and execute regional and product-line goals.
• Apply delegated underwriting rules, rates, forms, authorities, and guidelines.
• Execute distribution strategies and support product sales and marketing.
• Recruit, train, develop, and mentor underwriting talent.
• Evaluate procedures, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with legal and underwriting requirements.
• Drive change and innovation while maintaining relationships across workgroups.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of cyber, technology, or E&O underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and projects.
• Proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Sales, marketing, and relationship management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; US work authorization required.
