Manufacturing Team Leader

What you will do

• Provide leadership and coaching to associates to meet or exceed goals in safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Spend at least 70% of the time on the production floor managing performance and confirming standards.
• Monitor metrics, address performance shortfalls, and facilitate team meetings.
• Manage staffing levels, maintain cross-training matrices, and participate in candidate selection.
• Respond to quality issues and facilitate corrective and preventative actions.
• Ensure delivery schedules meet customer priorities by analyzing machine capacity and staffing needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Stuarts Draft, VA
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Production Systems, ERP systems, and FDA-regulated manufacturing is preferred.
