Location: Must be based in the UK with a requirement for hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the Manchester or Guildford office).
Salary: £62,900–£69,000 (Manchester) or £65,500–£72,000 (Guildford).

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Assessment Managers and Coordinators to ensure high performance and an inclusive culture.
- Oversee the end-to-end assessment cycle, ensuring materials are planned, quality-assured, and delivered to regulatory standards.
- Manage risks, issues, and delivery plans across a subject portfolio, acting as a point of escalation for complex problems.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and champion best practices in assessment quality.
- Utilize data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
- Represent the Assessment Management team in governance groups and strategic business initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and able to work from the Manchester or Guildford office at least 2 days per week.
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams, including performance management and coaching.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, education, or highly regulated environments where compliance is critical.
- Experience in managing risks, resolving complex issues, and delivering outcomes through others.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Hiring process

- Initial Teams interview followed by shortlisting.
