Location: Hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, UK. Requires 1-2 days per week in the office, with full-time onsite options available.

Salary: £47,389 – £56,535 per annum.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks and performance measures for apprenticeship provision.
  • Monitor quality indicators and produce regular reports for governance groups and committees.
  • Lead self-assessment processes and quality improvement plans to ensure measurable performance gains.
  • Manage risk-informed interventions to address compliance or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with faculties and apprenticeship services to enhance learner support and achievement outcomes.
  • Support organisational readiness for external inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Milton Keynes, UK.
  • Proven experience in a senior quality, performance, or assurance role within further or higher education.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading quality improvement activities and preparing for external inspections (e.g., Ofsted).
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive change in a complex environment.
  • Ability to translate data and management information into effective improvement actions.
