What you will do

• Act as a deputy to the Team Manager, covering responsibilities and ensuring customer requests meet quality expectations.
• Drive service and process improvements while maintaining strong risk awareness.
• Organize staff training and deliver constructive feedback to team members.
• Conduct 1-2-1 meetings to support team development and succession planning.
• Support the Team Manager in active engagement and motivation of staff.
• Liaise with internal business partners, such as Risk or Finance, to ensure operational compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing people, processes, and work allocation within operational areas.
• Strong background in the Life, Pensions, or Investment industry.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and coach team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel.
• Must be based in Southampton.
