Salary: $50 - $55/hr on W2

What you will do

• Lead contract negotiations and manage high-risk or complex supplier relationships.
• Establish and implement cost reduction strategies to improve category effectiveness.
• Customize legal contract language to anticipate technology, market, and business issues.
• Partner with business units to issue and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Educate and mentor Contract Analysts regarding risk issues and vendor disputes.
• Support acquisitions by managing negotiation reassignment on high-risk contracts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Sourcing or Procurement experience.
• Strong expertise in contract interpretation, drafting, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in financial analysis of pricing proposals.
• Ability to gather business requirements and recommend effective sourcing strategies.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Software License contracts (on-premise and vendor-hosted).
• Experience with contracts for Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• JD or professional sourcing certification.
• Experience negotiating agreements for highly regulated entities (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
