Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: US - NJ - Home Office; must be located in the NJ territory. Travel to customer, partner, and company events is required as needed.

Base salary: $112,000–$182,000 annually. Estimated on-target earnings: $160,000–$260,000 annually.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments and identify infrastructure and technology needs.
• Design and recommend solutions aligned with customer requirements, budgets, and business objectives.
• Prepare technical proposals, documentation, configurations, and solution presentations.
• Partner with account teams, field account executives, OEMs, technology partners, and customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide technical guidance, product training, and support for sales teams and customers.
• Support opportunity qualification, pipeline management, solution alignment, and technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of data center technologies, hybrid cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with hypervisors, containerization, software-defined data centers, and automation tools.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities and communicating technical value to customers.
• Knowledge of platforms such as Dell, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Pure Storage, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix.
• Knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and 3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or a similar technical role.
