Solutions Consultant (IDCS)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, USA

Base salary: $60,000–$92,000 annually; estimated on-target earnings: $72,000–$100,000 annually.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales teams to interpret customer requirements and maintain design documentation.
• Identify, scope, and help close opportunities through customer meetings and presentations.
• Lead technical customer projects delivering rack integration services and deployments.
• Provide technical consultation on partner products and solutions, and review upcoming technologies with vendors.
• Estimate project resources, timelines, and quality requirements for implementation.
• Communicate with stakeholders and mentor team members in the Integration Services Data Center department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience compiling and managing bills of materials for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, virtualization, high availability architectures, clustering, and systems design.
• Ability to create technical documentation and diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Ability to work flexible hours; advanced OEM certification from HPE, Dell EMC, Lenovo, Cisco, or similar is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification after joining.
