HR Advisor

TL;DR

Salary: £39,000–£50,000

What you will do

• Provide professional advice on employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities and manage onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation.
• Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate communication of employee changes.
• Support absence management, occupational health referrals, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Prepare HR documentation and management reports using HR systems and Excel.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing employee relations cases through to conclusion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with HR systems and administration.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or active study is desirable.
