HR Advisor

TL;DR

HR Advisor (HR): Providing expert HR guidance and managing the full employee lifecycle with an accent on employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. Focus on coaching managers, driving performance management, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture within an international educational environment.

Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days per week on campus at Regent Holborn HQ).

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
• Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll and reporting processes.
• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with UK employment legislation.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or able to commute to the Holborn campus 3 days per week.
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Experience in a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Proven experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience working across multiple sites or within an international organisation.
• Knowledge of TUPE and organisational change.
• Experience using HR data and analytics for decision-making.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification.
