Human Resources Business Partner

TL;DR

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): Partner with Engineering, Product & Design leaders to drive org design, talent planning, employee relations, and manager effectiveness as the organization scales across Stockholm and London. Focus on building AI-enabled people operating rhythms, running quarterly Signal Review cycles end-to-end, and managing complex employee situations with strong judgment and discretion.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted HRBP partner to EPD leadership on people decisions shaping the business (team design, leadership effectiveness, talent density, retention, and change).
• Design and improve AI-native people operations by experimenting with AI-enabled workflows for manager enablement, insight generation, communications, and operating rhythms.
• Own org design and headcount planning with Engineering, Finance, Recruiting, and People Ops (reporting lines, role definition, spans/layers, contractor strategy, and future org shape).
• Run EPD’s quarterly Signal Review cycle end-to-end, including manager prep, calibration, at-risk categorization, level corrections, and follow-through.
• Use qualitative signals and people data to identify hot spots, flight risks, manager gaps, and team-level patterns, then translate insights into interventions.
• Handle complex employee relations and risk management for EPD in partnership with Legal and People Ops (performance improvement plans, investigations, resignations, probation, and terminations).

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an HRBP, People Partner, or equivalent, with meaningful experience supporting Engineering, Product, Design, Research, or similarly technical organizations.
• Experience at an AI-native, developer tools, product-led, or high-growth technology company.
• Strong business judgment connecting people decisions to company priorities, product velocity, leadership effectiveness, and team performance.
• Excellent judgment in employee relations, including sensitive performance, conduct, probation, resignation, and termination situations.
• Ability to give hard feedback to senior technical leaders while maintaining strong relationships and discretion.
• Comfort with ambiguity and pace while structure is still being built in real time.
