Construction Inspector

What you will do

• Perform full-time on-site inspection for short-term and long-term construction assignments.
• Administer construction contract terms, including managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and schedules.
• Document construction progress through detailed field reports and logs of change orders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including permits, specifications, and contractor pay requests.
• Act as a liaison between contractors, design professionals, and clients to resolve field issues.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, contract specifications, and apply engineering principles.
• Experience with State and Municipal construction and materials specifications.
• Experience in commercial, public works, or roadway projects.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Engineering Technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• ODOT, APWA, or NICET Certifications.
