Lead System Accountant (NetSuite)

Location: Fully remote, available to candidates based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, or The Netherlands

What you will do

• Own finance-related systems spanning Chargebee, Avalara, payment gateways, NetSuite, and Pigment.
• Manage API interfaces and Workato tools to ensure complete and accurate data transfer between systems.
• Review daily audit logs and maintain effective logical access controls.
• Maintain financial systems policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and finance stakeholders to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and train finance team members on systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a systems role within a finance function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-focused, flexible, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite and/or Chargebee.
• Background in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Knowledge of Spanish tax and regulatory environments.
