Accounting Lead

What you will do

• Supervise daily accounting activities, allocate tasks, track deadlines, and review journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and transaction records in the ERP.
• Coordinate assigned month-end close activities, support variance analysis, and escalate risks or delays.
• Maintain compliance with accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation standards, including external audit deliverables.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support approved process or system changes.
• Serve as the first point of contact for operational accounting questions from AP, AR, and other teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, revenue and expense recognition, and close activities.
• At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading junior accounting staff.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work within accounting policies and close timelines.
