Accounting Lead (Finance): Overseeing daily accounting operations and managing team workload with an accent on US GAAP compliance, month-end close execution, and process optimization. Focus on building scalable accounting processes, mentoring junior staff, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy.

What you will do
- Supervise daily accounting activities, including task allocation and deadline tracking.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support schedules prepared by the team.
- Coordinate and execute month-end close activities according to the established calendar.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation standards.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process improvements to the Senior Accounting Manager.
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational questions from AP, AR, and other departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP.
- 1+ year of experience supervising or leading junior accounting staff.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong ability to identify issues and escalate accounting judgment matters appropriately.
- Must be based in Argentina.
