Mgr, Accounting

hirify.global is hiring for its Accounting team.

What you will do

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and cost recording, and close-process improvements.
• Manage and mentor the Accounting team, support career development, remove roadblocks, and coordinate work across Accounting and accounting operations.
• Lead annual audit activities and coordinate U.S. GAAP financial statements, footnotes, and external reporting deliverables.
• Research and document accounting guidance for equity, share-based compensation, ASC 842 leases, ASC 606 revenue recognition, business combinations, and other complex topics.
• Own the chart of accounts, general ledger, transaction classification, and financial statement accuracy.
• Partner with FP&A and tax on close deliverables, forecasts, and process improvements using AI tools and automation.

Requirements

• Must work remotely from the United States.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and an active CPA license.
• 8+ years of accounting experience and 2+ years of experience managing an accounting team.
• Experience with internal controls, process documentation, financial reporting, audits, and complex accounting analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, independent working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar large language models to improve efficiency.

• AdTech industry experience.
• Prior remote work or remote management experience.
• Experience using NetSuite.
• Experience implementing AI agents or workflow automations.
