What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based products and features to solve real-world customer problems.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to validate technical approaches and discover customer needs.
• Develop rapid prototypes to de-risk projects and iterate them into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute across the stack, working with Java, Node.js, Python, and Vue.js.
• Present system design proposals and document architectural decisions.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, pairing, and active collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building real-time data processing systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js and experience with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, non-relational databases, and cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
• Must be based in the United States or Canada (Ontario/British Columbia).
• Unable to provide Visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Comfort using modern AI tools to accelerate development.
