AI Product Engineer

Location: Presidio, San Francisco, CA; hybrid with 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, depending on experience; competitive equity

What you will do

• Turn property-management operational problems into production software quickly.
• Build workflows for routing work orders, coordinating vendors, supporting residents, and keeping rent on track.
• Develop AI features for resident support and maintenance triage.
• Evaluate AI systems, improve observability, and create human feedback loops.
• Shadow operators, identify workflow bottlenecks, and ship high-leverage solutions.
• Own projects from idea through code, data, deployment, and measurable results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping production AI features.
• Ability to build backend services, frontend applications, and agentic workflows.
• Experience working directly with operators and customers to understand problems in context.
• Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous operational problems into shipped software.
• Availability to work in the hybrid San Francisco office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agno, Qdrant, Braintrust, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• Experience with Vue, Nuxt, React, Tailwind, Python, FastAPI, or Django.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redshift, Airflow, Metabase, dbt, AWS, Vercel, Terraform, Sentry, CloudWatch, or PostHog.
