Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI-native)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI-native): Ship end-to-end products across the CRM platform for distributors with an accent on AI-native development using agentic coding tools and generalist fullstack execution across frontend, backend, data, and integrations. Focus on designing scalable schemas/APIs, operating AI coding agents with strong judgment and verification, and translating real ERP configurations into production-ready workflows.

Location: Boston-based. Hybrid — 3 days/week in the office at Harvard Square, Cambridge. Occasional travel to customer sites a few times a year.

Salary: $150k–$200k base salary/year (includes equity and full benefits).

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of features from ticket refinement through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Operate AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) at a high level: scope work, structure context, run agents in parallel, and ship reviewed production-quality output.
• Move fluidly across the stack (TypeScript/Vue, Python, SQL/data modeling, and infra touchpoints) to deliver user impact.
• Collaborate in a squad model with PMs, designers, and engineers; participate in 2-week sprints and code reviews.
• Design schemas, queries, and APIs for performance, reliability, and correctness.
• Support onboarding and troubleshoot integrations with customers, including occasional onsite visits.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a software engineer with real, demonstrable fullstack delivery in production systems with real users and ownership.
• Strong fundamentals: ability to debug, reason about queries/stack traces, and validate correctness (not “vibe coding”).
• Daily hands-on experience with agentic dev tools (e.g., Claude Code/Cursor agent mode/Codex) used to ship real features.
• Generalist capability across Vue, Python, SQL, infra, and integrations; comfort jumping between layers as needed.
• Database and systems chops: schema/query efficiency, indexing tradeoffs, and distributed-system failure-mode reasoning.
• Experience building integrations with distribution ERPs (e.g., Epicor Eclipse, P21) and handling messy real-world data.
