What you will do

• Lead SNC Design Engineering resources across Controls, SCADA, EMS, Network, IT/OT and Cybersecurity disciplines.
• Ensure project execution within the subregion is delivered on time and on budget.
• Manage solution standardization and develop project-specific features for energy storage systems.
• Oversee design governance, ensuring technical compliance with customer specifications and regional grid requirements.
• Own the design readiness gate and approve engineering deliverables prior to handover to the Deployment Team.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to help them progress in their careers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with utility-scale power systems, BESS, SCADA, and EMS in the EMEA region.
• Expert knowledge of Controls, SCADA, and EMS solutions for utility-scale energy projects.
• Deep understanding of Cybersecurity concepts aligned with electricity transmission/distribution standards.
• Experience with Linux-based systems, Python, Shell/Bash scripting, and GitHub.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German or additional languages.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Virtualization, and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
