What you will do

• Manage a geographically dispersed team of software developers, data engineers, and product managers, including performance management and workforce planning.
• Oversee the delivery of unit projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Engage with global stakeholders to define product strategy, roadmaps, and solution prioritisation.
• Mediate communication between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders to simplify complex ideas.
• Develop and refine agile software development processes and practices over time.
• Ensure security is a non-negotiable priority to protect the data of vulnerable populations and maintain critical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in engineering management, product management, or senior technical leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent software projects.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing remote technical teams.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be based in locations within CET +/- 2 hours.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic.
• Experience or knowledge of the humanitarian sector.
