What you will do

• Line-manage and grow a group of engineers through hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career coaching.
• Partner with Product Managers, Design, and QA to shape and deliver roadmaps aligned with the product vision.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership by regularly contributing to the C++ codebase and reviewing architectural designs.
• Represent the domain in cross-functional engineering forums to share learnings and uphold shared engineering standards.
• Champion an experimentation culture using A/B tests and live data to guide technical and product decisions.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing software engineers in a product development environment.
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in architecture and contribute to a C++ codebase.
• Track record of delivering complex technical solutions in a high-scale or game-as-a-service context.
• Proficiency in C++ and ability to reason about mobile performance, memory, and stability at scale.
• Strong grasp of modern software engineering practices including testing, code review, CI, and observability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical partners and operate amid ambiguity.
