What you will do

• Lead the global development, standardization, integration, and governance of machine control systems across underground hard rock product platforms.
• Own controls systems architecture, software integration strategy, and technical governance for loaders, trucks, drills, bolters, utility vehicles, and related mining equipment.
• Harmonize software, controls, electrical, automation, and integrated machine systems across product lines.
• Establish software lifecycle, architecture, release management, validation, testing, documentation, change management, cybersecurity, and machine communication standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical software, controls, automation, and systems integration issues affecting performance, reliability, safety, and market readiness.
• Provide technical and people leadership for global engineering teams and product development programs involving automation, controls, electrical, hydraulic, and embedded software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive engineering experience in controls, embedded systems, automation, and electrical and hydraulic system integration within an OEM or industrial equipment environment.
• At least 5 years of experience leading global engineering organizations and cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience developing standardized controls platforms and software architectures in a global engineering environment.
• Knowledge of embedded control systems, ECUs, industrial and mobile machine communications, sensors and instrumentation, intelligent machine systems, autonomous equipment, and remote operation systems.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, communication, leadership, project management, and program management skills, with the ability to work in a matrix organization.
