Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Create structured end-user installation, operation, and maintenance manuals using reuse strategies and modular writing design.
- Develop localization-ready content for 32+ languages following Simplified Technical English rules and Global Visual Design Standards.
- Manage the complete translation process with external vendors, from initial scoping to final delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global product development teams (R&D, Product Management) to obtain and interpret technical information.
- Convert legacy unstructured FrameMaker documentation into structured topics and maps.
- Prepare and visually proof final production files (PDF, online) before delivery to vendors.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Technical Communication, science, technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience (or 10+ years in Technical Publication/Communication).
- Proficiency in DITA-XML and content management systems.
- Experience utilizing translation management systems.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Loveland, Colorado.
Nice to have
- Ability to maintain and adapt XSL-FO files.
- Experience illustrating complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Corel Designer, or Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble instruments for documentation purposes.
