Location: Beijing, China. Must live within a commutable distance to the Beijing office and be able to work in-person 3 days per week. Must have the right to work and live in China.

What you will do

• Proactively manage customer renewals and retention to minimize churn risks.
• Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities for subscriptions and packages.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and local agencies.
• Achieve annual sales targets and track performance metrics such as renewal rates and upsell revenue.
• Conduct regular outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings to provide product guidance and support.

Requirements

• Native Mandarin and full professional proficiency in English (C1).
• Solid understanding of the academic publishing industry and business models.
• Proven track record in sales or sales support meeting ambitious revenue targets.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and business acumen oriented toward profitability.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and present compelling solutions.
