Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states with limited exceptions.

Salary: $125,900–$201,100 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington, D.C.; $119,600–$191,000 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. Additional equity awards may apply.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end analytical and machine learning solutions for business and customer use cases.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define hypotheses, success metrics, and analytical approaches.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, features, and production models using modern data and machine learning tooling.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Apply A/B testing, backtesting, error analysis, and other evaluation practices to measure impact and guide model iteration.
• Contribute to data quality, model governance, documentation, and responsible data and AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning.
• Experience delivering end-to-end analytical or machine learning solutions, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, and operationalization.
• Experience working with large datasets, distributed data processing, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to define requirements, prioritize work, and deliver measurable outcomes.
