What you will do

• Design and implement robust, testable, and high-performance systems and tools using Rust.
• Optimize existing software architectures to enhance speed and operational efficiency.
• Participate across all phases of the development lifecycle, including debugging and software quality elevation.
• Keep the codebase current with the latest advancements in Rust programming and security design principles.
• Provide and receive peer feedback through established review cycles to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing backend systems in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch).
• 3+ years of experience working within a microservices architecture.
• Solid proficiency in Rust and experience integrating with third-party devices and data providers.
• Experience incorporating AI tools, models, or services into development workflows.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building and operating reliable distributed systems at scale.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with Terraform (IaC).
• Production experience with Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Background in information security-focused products or secure coding practices.
