Senior Rust Software Engineer

Location: Remote in Ukraine

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain a new Rust-based cross-platform agent.
• Build integrations with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions for a data replication and storage platform.
• Develop reliable, secure, and performant system-level software for high-load data processing and storage.
• Apply testing, automation, CI/CD, build, and observability practices; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to solve complex customer challenges.

Requirements

• Senior-level Rust engineering experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining high-load, scalable services.
• Experience working with one or more of Windows, Linux, or macOS.
• Understanding of operating system concepts, networking, file systems, and process-level behavior.
• Experience integrating or working with multi-language codebases, including Rust and C/C++.
• Experience with modern development practices, including testing, automation, CI pipelines, and build systems such as Cargo and CMake.
• Experience validating solutions at realistic production scale.
• Collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn from and support others.
