VP, Engineering Strategy (Fintech): Establishing and executing operating models, governance, and leadership rhythms to improve delivery outcomes of the Engineering organization with an accent on program execution at scale and cloud application migration. Focus on managing Agile Release Trains, standardizing planning cadences, and driving strategic alignment between Engineering, Tech, and Ops.

Location: Hybrid - Must be based in the US near a hirify.global Hub (e.g., Stamford, CT)

Salary: $170,000 - $290,000 Annual

What you will do

• Establish and own the operating rhythm for the Engineering leadership team, including governance, finance, and HR cycles.
• Lead portfolio and program execution at scale for the Engineering and Cloud Application Migration Agile Release Trains (ART).
• Develop tools and resources for strategic decision-making, evaluating KPIs, and driving accountability.
• Manage key initiatives such as operational resiliency and Client SLA reporting and maturity.
• Partner with Finance, Communications, and HR to drive alignment on key organizational imperatives.
• Collaborate with leadership and HR to manage talent development and engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of equivalent work experience in Technology or Financial Services.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results within a matrixed environment.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and business acumen.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship provided.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
