Location: Must be a U.S. citizen. Hybrid remote role with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington, D.C. / Maryland / Northern Virginia corridor. Must be available during Eastern Time zone business hours.

Salary: $190,000 - $280,000

What you will do

• Serve as the CIO’s deputy, representing the technology organization in leadership and cross-functional decision-making.
• Own and drive solution strategy across all business units, developing innovation roadmaps and strategic technical approaches.
• Lead and develop staff through direct reports and dotted-line collaboration, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable execution plans and operational cadences.
• Partner with BD and Growth teams to lead solution strategy for new opportunities and technical volumes.
• Communicate technical strategy and organizational priorities to diverse stakeholders, including government agency leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret/Top Secret security clearances.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership managing multiple teams.
• Proven experience in federal government contracting (GovCon), including understanding of contract vehicles and agency engagement.
• Broad technical acumen across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.
• Exceptional strategic communication and storytelling skills for executive and government audiences.
• Experience working within an Agile or SAFe environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting CMS, HHS, DoD, or Intelligence Community programs.
• Domain expertise in defense data integration, health IT analytics, or civilian services modernization.
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud ecosystems.
• PMP or SAFe Agilist (SA) certifications.
