What you will do

• Perform detailed civil and structural engineering calculations using Mathcad and spreadsheet models.
• Create site models and infrastructure layouts in Civil 3D.
• Lead the preparation of contract drawings and provide technical direction to design technicians.
• Coordinate technical communication among project teams, leadership, department members, and external clients.
• Prepare permitting documentation and ensure submittals meet applicable local and state requirements.
• Apply hydraulic and drainage modeling to troubleshoot stormwater and utility design challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• At least 4 years of progressive professional experience in civil engineering design.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools such as Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, or StormCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple project timelines.
