Salary: $147,000–$196,600

What you will do

• Design and develop networking software for Linux-based vehicle communication systems.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to meet power and reliability requirements.
• Work with application and cloud teams to ensure end-to-end system performance.
• Triage and resolve complex system-wide networking issues.
• Contribute to the development of next-generation vehicle software and communication architectures.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and network stack architecture.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Java.
• Experience with networking on Linux, Android, or QNX platforms.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with wireless protocols such as WiFi, LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, or UWB.
• Familiarity with packet sniffers and protocol analyzers.
• Experience with telemetry and observability for highly-reliable software.
• Strong technical writing and collaboration skills.
