What you will do

• Design and develop low-level embedded software and drivers for automotive microcontrollers and processors.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements and architecture to implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, system, and validation engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Contribute to process improvements and adherence to industry standards like AUTOSAR and ASPICE.

Requirements

• Strong experience in embedded C programming.
• Deep understanding of microcontrollers, CPU architecture, memory management, and interrupts.
• Advanced debugging skills for embedded systems and low-level software.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
• English proficiency required for daily communication.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bucharest office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards, tooling, and methodology.
• Experience with ARM architectures (Cortex-M, Cortex-R) and software specs.
• Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR OS).
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and scripting languages.
• Ability to read schematics and understand hardware-software interactions.
